Chocolate Cakes


These have proven to be very popular over the years and form the basis of many of my cakes, including some of the novelty cakes.  A chocolate transfer, as shown on this leopard print cake, can make a cake look very stylish.

I offer a choice of moist chocolate sponge, white chocolate mud cake or a more dense, almost brownie type cake. The cakes are layered with buttercream and then covered in a generous coating of Belgian milk, white or dark chocolate or chocolate ganache. Another suggestions would be to have a chocolate sponge with buttercream flavoured with Grand Marnier and an orange flavoured milk chocolate coating. All chocolate possibilities considered!
